The Generation section in Berlin International Film Festival, or Berlinale, is a platform to screen and host distinctive films made for children, teenagers and the whole family viewing. In the past two decades, four Indonesian short films made their premieres here, before traveling further to other film festivals in other parts of the world. These four films are fresh, unpretentious and earnest in their storytelling, which do not surprise us that they are timeless. Through this special program called Generation Bears, Europe on Screen 26 could not be more proud in highlighting these films and honouring their stories, which we believe will remain relevant in years to come.
