In the middle of this disruptive digital era, technology has been exponentially adopted to create a bigger impact on society and advocate empowerment in many aspects of life, especially for women and underrepresented groups. As a country with the biggest economy in Southeast Asia, Indonesia will benefit a lot from technology to achieve inclusion and better access for women and underrepresented groups, raise up the SMEs, and scale-up the digital startup ecosystem.
With those goals in mind, UK-Indonesia Tech Hub, a technology and innovation hub supported by British Embassy Jakarta, presents TECH TO IMPACT : Inclusion, Improvement, and Collaboration; a series of tech talks, workshops and skill development program that aims to boost inclusion, empowerment, and collaboration to develop tech ecosystem in Indonesia.
UK-INDONESIA TECH HUB
Tech - Hub is a program that focused on:
- Establishing Digital Ecosystem
- Developing Digital Skills and Capacity
- Supporting the partnership and innovation of Digital Ecosystem between British and Indonesia
UK Indonesia Tech Hub has been started at September 2019, and the same program has been done in some countries like South Africa, Kenya, India, Brazil and Albania.
UK Indonesia Tech Hub will collaborate with many parties like governments, professional associations, education institutions, digital communities, investors and woman and also the unreach groups.
Right now, UK Indonesia Tech Hub has designed many activities and collaborate with related parties to give a business digital training that will take place in Jakarta, Surabaya and Denpasar.
British Embassy Jakarta UK - Indonesia Tech Hub is a new initiation from British Government to upgrade the Digital Ecosystem, to develop skills and individual ability to support businesses partnership innovations.
