This was my second visit to Borobudur, and the temple itself remains an extraordinary and beautiful place. Unfortunately, the guided tour was very disappointing. The guide spent more time talking about personal matters than explaining the temple's history, symbolism, or the stories depicted on the wall reliefs. Our group went almost straight to Arupadhatu, where we had only about 20 minutes before being told to leave. There was almost no time to properly explore Rupadhatu or Kamadhatu, which are important parts of the Borobudur experience. The entire visit felt rushed and superficial. During my first visit, I had enough time to appreciate the temple's architecture and spiritual meaning, and I left feeling inspired. This time, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Borobudur is a world-class monument that deserves a much better guided experience.

dengan harga segitu naik ke candi, kepanasan keringetan. untung sudah bawa payung. disini saya akan menceritakan apa adanya. 1. untuk naik ke stupa sudah dilarang. 2. kita diberi tour guide cumam sayangnya ini tidak di batasi. grup sayay isinya 5 grup keluarga. ada yang 1 group berisi 8. jadi lebih dari 30 orang. 3. untuk shuttle dari parkir kendaraan baik mobil/bus/mtr menunggu tidak sampai 10 menit. 4. ketika turun kita akan diberikan penawaran naik delman 100ribu per delman. bisa di isi 4/5 orang senilai 100ribu. menurut saya ini nggak worthed ya. bayangan saya bakal jauh. apalagi sudah ngos-ngosan. menurut saya jika teman-teman masih muda. 35an. mending nunggu shuttle. tapi jika membawa ortu. naik delman. karena tenaga sudah habis. sebaiknya kesini pagi jam 08.30 atau sore jam 14.30. atau sekalian 15.30 jika hotelnya dekat. menurut saya sudah baik. karena ada tur guide. cuman harganya over price ya. di banding prambanan. seharusnya bisa lebih turun, karena ini warisan kita semua.

Museum is not free despite you pay for the entire visit of the temple

I think this place is so clean and wonderful and as a Buddhist, I want to come back again in the future. In another way, the weather is so hot too.
