The Philippine Madrigal Singers in Jakarta

The Philippine Madrigal Singers, also known as the "Madz," are not just any choir; they are a celebrated ensemble with a rich history of over 60 years. They made history as the first choir to win the prestigious European Grand Prix for Choral Singing twice, in 1997 and 2007. Their unique performance style, which involves singing seated in a semicircle without a conductor, adds an intimate touch to their concerts.

This concert is part of the 7th Symposium on Choral Music 2025, where the Madz will showcase their extraordinary talent as one of the invited choirs.
