The Langkawi International Half Marathon 2026 (LIHM26) returns for its 5th edition as one of Southeast Asia's most sought-after destination running events. Combining the excitement of racing with the beauty of an island getaway, LIHM offers a unique "runcation" experience where sport, travel, and community come together.
Following an overwhelming response of 55,000 registrations and a complete sell-out within one hour in 2025, participation for LIHM26 is exclusively limited to 7,000 runners, ensuring a premium race experience for every participant.
Powered by the passionate Langkawirunners community, LIHM26 is more than a raceit's a celebration of local hospitality, meaningful connections, and the vibrant spirit of Langkawi.
The four-day experience begins with the Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) at Lagenda Beach on 1011 December, followed by race day on 12 December at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC). Runners will take on a scenic course that showcases Langkawi's stunning landscapes while enjoying world-class race organization from start to finish.
