About This Experience

Jakarta-based ORUTAKU CLUB presents ORUBDG, the first anime nostalgia and throwback J-song party in Bandung! We offer a new entertainment concept of dancing and singing karaoke to DJ sets playing 1980s to early 2000s anime soundtracks and J-pop, J-rock anthems.

Orutaku is dedicated to old school otaku - a generation who grew up during the golden age of anime and Japanese culture in Indonesia. Realising the sentimental value of it all, ORUTAKU CLUB shares an immersive experience of dance, karaoke, and gaming with like-minded people, now mostly in their late 20s to mid 30s yet forever young at heart.

If you spent your childhood watching anime on Sunday mornings and playing Japanese video games, this is the perfect event for you!

Old school anime DJ set performance by:

YOCHI - As a household name in the local anime community, Yochi is known for his dangdut and funkot remixes. He comes fully armed with nonstop anime bangers to bring total euphoria to the dancefloor!

SCIFIFALL - Scififall is already well-known for spinning around Jakarta and Bandung anime events. First time performing in Orutaku, he will be clashing together eccentric selections to awaken your inner J-rockstar energy.

ORUMIN - After her sparkling debut and follow-up shows in CLAS:H Urban Festival and Indonesia Comic Con, Orutaku's very own DJ Orumin has finally earned her mark to play alongside the legendary DJ headliners. She will be kicking off our party with a cheeky setlist of nostalgic shoujo tunes and J-pop remixes.
