Keith Jarrett is a renowned jazz musician and composer, closely associated with free improvisation. One of his most notable works is his Cologne concert, the recording of which is titled The Kln Concert and is the best-selling solo jazz album in history. His extendedimprovisations and harmonies have become a reference point for modern jazz and improvisation techniques.
The film Koeln 75 recounts the concert and the intrigues that unfolded during its preparation, execution and aftermath. Following the screening, we invite the Bandung Jazz Orchestra to perform an improvisational set as part of a Jammin Session event at East Indies C.C.
