DARI - Solo Show by A.Sebastianus

DARI revisits one of A. Sebastianus ethnographic work on the materialization of the body/being through sacred acts and recollections of from also known as dari. Alexander Sebastianus Hartanto uses experiential ethnographic re/search as a prominent intertwining mode of existence. Hartantos works explore the decontextualization of material cultures and how it is perceived, understood, and ritualized in practice. This exhibition debuts A.Sebastianus works not only as an artist (magician/shaman) but also as an ethnographer (observer) and as a craftsman (practitioner/from the word practice).
