Eldest Daughter menjadi track kelima dalam album terbaru Taylor Swift yang berjudul The Life of a Showgirl. Pada Jumat, 3 Oktober 2025, Taylor resmi merilis album studio ke-12-nya ini. Total ada 12 lagu yang disajikan, dengan proses produksi yang turut melibatkan Taylor sendiri bersama Max Martin dan Shellback.
Album The Life of a Showgirl dibuka dengan lagu pembuka berjudul The Tale of Ophelia, sementara bagian penutupnya menghadirkan lagu utama sekaligus kolaborasi spesial bersama Sabrina Carpenter, yaitu The Life of a Showgirl.
