Teach for Jakarta 27 June 2026

A community initiative by Jalin Mimpi and ImagoDei that brings volunteers together to learn, play, and connect with 100+ children from the under-toll community in Penjaringan.

This session marks the beginning of our Dreams Journey with the theme Knowing Yourself: The Foundation of Dreams. Rather than asking children what job they want in the future, we invite them to first discover who they are today. Through storytelling, reflection, games, and creative activities, children will explore their interests, strengths, and unique qualities while learning that dreams begin with understanding themselves.

What you'll experience:

• Facilitate interactive self-discovery activities and reflection exercises
• Encourage children to recognize their strengths, interests, and positive qualities
• Help children create their first Dream Card as a foundation for future sessions
• Connect with fellow volunteers while creating a lasting impact in a child's journey of dreaming and self-belief
